El Camino de Santiago
Footstep of an Apostle
For more than a thousand years, pilgrims have traveled the Camino de Santiago—the Way of St. James—across Europe toward the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, where the relics of the Apostle James have been venerated since the early Middle Ages. What began as a medieval pilgrimage gradually became one of the great spiritual roads of the Christian world, drawing kings, saints, peasants, and wanderers alike onto the same path.

The Route
Our pilgrimage begins in the ancient Roman city of Astorga, a historic crossroads where pilgrims have gathered for generations before continuing west toward Santiago. From there the road leads through the mountains of Galicia, across quiet countryside, stone villages, and forested paths that have carried pilgrims for centuries.
Jonathan walked the Camino with us during the summer of 2022. Give out film a watch to learn about what lead him to walk the Camino and how his heart was transformed on it.
